Adam Trayfoot is 27 and came to The Grange from Treloar College.
He lived at home for a while and moved into his room in our Residential Care centre three years ago.
‘I was a bit nervous at first,’ he says, ‘but I’m very happy now. There’s lots to do.’
Adam’s monthly planner board is full of activities – there are skills learning sessions in catering and horticulture as well as social events. He’s a keen sports fan, especially rugby and he follows the career of his cousin who plays for the Harlequins team.
Adam is really good at figures and likes IT so it’s not a surprise he is involved in his Dad’s plant hire business and also helps to produce the ‘Grange 4 U’ newsletter.
‘I’m really happy with the staff here,’ he says, ‘they help me live a more independent lifestyle.’
