‘Person-Centred Practice’ is a core value at The Grange and it starts from the moment you apply to us for any of our services. We want to make sure we can meet your needs and that you will be happy with us. At the same time there are practical and financial concerns.

If you are interested in The Grange for a potential placement in any of our Skills & Activities, Supported Living or Residential Care services or a combination of these:
Once we receive an application form and supporting evidence, we will either come for a home visit and/or invite you to a taster day. If we feel your application is suitable, we will then invite you to a 2 week residential assessment for applications to our Supported Living or Residential Care services or a 3 day assessment for our Day Skills service.
Following the assessment, our staff will decide whether a permanent placement is suitable for you
If a suitable place is not available immediately, your name will be added to our waiting list. This list is actively managed by our Referrals and Outcomes Coordinator. You will be kept informed about where you are on the waiting list and we will contact you as soon as there is a suitable opening.
