Beautiful prints made at arts workshop

Leith Hill Place is the former home of composer Vaughan Williams and he would have been delighted with the art produced by people we support at a special disability arts workshop.

‘The Echoing Space’ is the title of a National Trust sponsored art project by artists Julie Hoyle, Penny Green and Mary Branson together with photographer Emma Brown who have worked extensively with artists who have a disability. The day-long workshop included painting and print techniques and selected work will be included in an exhibition later in the year with a possibility of the work going on tour.

‘Our Grange artists had a wonderful time, says Senior Tutor, Helen Hughes, ‘the house and views are stunning so it was not surprising the work they produced was wonderful.’
