Corporate fundraising

Home » Corporate fundraising

Our corporate partners have helped us improve life for people we support in ways we could never have afforded ourselves. As a medium size charity with professional management, we have the capacity to work with you to fulfil your Corporate Social Responsibility goals.

Passport to Fitness Campaign

Choosing healthy foods is a minefield for people with learning disabilities. Labelling information is hard to read and even harder to understand.

UNUM, one if the UK’s leading employee benefits providers, helped us to launch ‘Passport to Fitness’ to the 100 people we support by financing the purchase of swimming pool gym equipment, basket ball stands and other games equipment.

Charity of the Year

We have been lucky enough to be chosen as Charity of the Year by several companies.

  • IRESS, a local financial company, are holding cake-bakes for us and plan to visit on a monthly basis to tidy our gardens.
  • UNUM ran a year of fundraising events for us raising £20,000 overall. They since have donated large amounts of equipment and supported one-off projects, such as a much needed shelter to cover.
  • AVIVA insurance group selected us for their Community Fund resulting in funding for new safer hobs in our kitchen

Gifts in kind

Besides financial giving we also appreciate receiving unwanted chairs, catering equipment and furniture.

Some companies have gifted us their expertise, such as setting up our social media sites, and we could not manage without mince pies from Waitrose for our Christmas Carol concert!

Sainsbury and Waitrose supermarkets have provided valuable training and work experience to people we support.

Corporate volunteer days

Looking for an opportunity for corporate team building or community days? We often have painting and gardening jobs for eams to do. See Corporate volunteering.
