Our Heritage Room was open to the public for the first time on Heritage Day and the feedback was very positive.

Our textiles made for Queen Mary by The School of Stitchery and Lace have been restored and are on view ina special showcase. We were delighted to receive some new items for Mrs Margaret Leech and her daughter Alison. They donated some beautifully embroidered placemats and a tea cosy made by trainees at The School in the 1960s.

You can hear oral histories from former staff and pupils and learn about our work over the last 80 years.

The Room is open every Tuesday 2pm to 4pm or on request. Call 01372 452608.  See video here
