Remembering Remembrance Day

Remembering Remembrance Day

The Grange stepped back to the 1940s today, complete with singalongs, led by soloists Charlotte and Luke, and a 2 minute silence in the morning. In the afternoon we held a tea dance, in the ballroom of course, where we learnt the #LambethWalk and other dances, thanks to Rachel Sparks Dance, and where of course we ate Grange made cakes! Special thanks to our Heritage Interpretation Officer for organising and our local pianist neighbour for accompanying and the Creative Arts team for the fantastic poppy decorations. It was a wonderful day, enjoyed by all, as you can see on everyone’s face! #remembranceday #remembrance #1940s
