The Grange has a dynamic, award-nominated range of skills training and sports and leisure activities for people with learning and physical disabilities.

Our tutors in creative arts, horticulture, IT, catering, woodwork and mini businesses are experienced in helping you explore things you might like doing in a way that suits you.

Over 100 people attend our courses each week – some live at The Grange and others come in just for the day. We’re always growing and adding new sessions.

Our Skills and Activities Team will find you activities which will teach you valuable skills for independence as well as being enjoyable and sociable. You'll soon find your self-esteem and confidence grows. See how others have others have got on in our People Stories section.

Involving you in the programme

You can get involved in developing and trialling new activities and initiatives. You can also choose to attend activities run by other organisations such as horseriding, drama or sports and we will help you get there.

Accredited qualifications

We run ASDAN and CIEH food hygiene accredited courses all of which are certificated and celebrated.
